    This is actually a good question — although I did not write the original article, I did the editing and publication for it, during which I apparently overlooked the vagueness of the quantities used here. I noticed that it also says “a glass of warm water” without mentioning the volume of the glass. If I had to guess, I would say that the glass is supposed to be a standard eight ounce serving, and then you could just use half of a lemon for the “freshly squeezed” part. If you use a whole lemon the beverage might seem too tart, but in this case you could always add more water until you reach the desired taste.
